Sie ist mit herausragenden Elementen des großflächigen Meisterwerks seiner „Goldenen Periode“ versehen, dem Beethovenfries, den er für das Gebäude der Wiener Secession schuf.\n\nDie reliefartige Auflage aus massivem 750er Gelbgold auf der platinierten Kappe, deren Spiralen und und vertikale Linien die Saiten einer Leier symbolisieren, verweist auf die goldene Ornamentik des Beethovenfries sowie auf die dort dargestellte Figur, die als Symbol für die Poesie eine Leier spielt, deren Klang angeblich das Bedürfnis der Menschen nach Liebe und Glück stillt.\n\nVor dem matten Untergrund von Kappe und Korpus, die beide platiniert sind, heben sich zweidimensionale Linien ab, die von den Reliefs auf den Fassaden des Gebäudes der Secession inspiriert sind. Die Kombination von massivem 750er Gelbgold mit platinierten Elementen auf Kappe und Korpus ist eine Anspielung auf die experimentellen und luxuriösen Materialien, die Gustav Klimt gerne verwendete. Unterstrichen wird das Zusammenspiel von einem Malachit-Cabochon auf dem Konus. Das Grün des Malachits erinnert an den Frühling, wenn alles Leben neu beginnt. In Anerkennung an die Errungenschaften von Gustav Klimt für die Wiener Secession ist die Intarsie aus massivem 750er Gold auf dem Korpus mit dem Monogramm der Secession und den Initialen GK versehen.\n\nDer Clip der Homage to Gustav Klimt Limited Edition 888 wurde speziell entworfen und erinnert an die „Pallas Athene“ von Gustav Klimt.
